1. Introduction

Welcome to Cricket Coach Connect, a free community platform where players, parents and coaches connect, and where players can discover and book independent cricket coaches. By accessing and using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Services Provided

Cricket Coach Connect provides a platform for:

• Discovering and booking cricket coaching and training sessions
• Online booking and scheduling services
• Free community accounts
• Coaching plans and courses offered by individual coaches
• Merchandise sales
• Community forums and discussion boards

3. Booking and Payment Terms

3.1 Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability. Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your session.

3.2 Payment

You pay a £5 booking fee by card when you book. Your coach's session fee is paid directly to your coach by bank transfer or their payment link before the session. Details are sent once your booking is confirmed. Card payments are processed securely by Square. Cricket Coach Connect does not collect session fees and is not responsible for session fees paid directly to a coach, including any payment that is late, missing or not refunded. Collecting the session fee, and making any refund that is due, is the coach's responsibility. Courses, coaching plans, camps and shop orders are paid in full by card at checkout.

3.3 Pricing

All prices are displayed in GBP and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify our pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellations by Customer

Session fee refunds are made by your coach, directly to you:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session: full refund of the session fee
• Cancellations made 24-48 hours before: 50% refund of the session fee
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before: no refund

The £5 booking fee is not refundable when you cancel.

4.2 Cancellations by a Coach

If your coach declines your booking, the booking fee is not taken. If your coach cancels a session after approving it, your coach refunds your session fee in full and we refund the booking fee to your card. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

5. Community Accounts

Community accounts are free. You must be 16 or over to create an account; under-16s may take part through a parent or guardian's account. We may suspend accounts that break our community rules.

5.1 Coach plans and courses

Coaching plans and courses are offered and delivered by the individual coach. The coach's own terms, shown on their profile, apply alongside these Terms and Conditions.

6. Community Conduct

When using the community, you must:

• Be respectful to coaches, parents, players and staff
• Keep everything you post family-appropriate
• Never post photos or personal details of other people's children
• Report any concerns to us
• Not post spam or advertising without our permission

6A. Session Conduct

At coaching sessions, all participants must:

• Follow the coach's safety instructions
• Arrive on time for scheduled sessions
• Wear suitable kit and equipment

We reserve the right to refuse service or suspend or close accounts for breaches of community or session conduct.

7. Liability and Insurance

While we take every precaution to ensure safety, cricket is a physical activity that carries inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

Coaches provide their sessions independently through the platform and are responsible for their coaching, safeguarding obligations and any insurance required for their services. Cricket Coach Connect is not responsible for personal injuries or property damage except where caused by our negligence.

Participants are responsible for their own medical insurance and ensuring they are physically fit to participate.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Cricket Coach Connect and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

10. Photography and Media

We and coaches will only use photos or videos of a participant for promotion with prior consent. For under-18s, consent must come from a parent or guardian. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by emailing us.

10A. Content You Post

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a licence to display it on the platform. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
